As you all know I got this a few weeks ago in my mega haul from Boots which you can see here. I’ve given them all a good test drive and feel I can give you all some detailed reviews.
The first one I'm going to review is probably my favourite. It is the No 7 hot cloth cleanser. Obviously I had heard a lot about the Liz Earl cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser but to be honest I didn’t know there were others out there. So when I saw this one and I had a voucher I thought I’d give it a go. I haven’t tried the Liz Earl one so can’t compare, however I have heard that the muslin cloth might be slightly nicer with the Liz Earl one.
What it says on the box
No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser has been created to provide tailored skin nutrition for healthy looking, bright and beautiful skin.
Enjoy the luxury of a spa facial in your own home. The combination of this rich indulgent cleanser and the gentle exfoliating muslin cloth removes dead skin cells and daily grime whilst stimulating circulation, leaving your skin deeply clean, soft and radiant.
The No 7 cleanser is a thick cream that you rub onto dry skin and then gently polish off with a hot muslin cloth which comes with the cleanser.
Because my skin is so oily I wanted to carry on using my oil balancing cleanser so I use the hot cloth cleanser about 5 times a week usually in the evenings.
What I think of the product
I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I have noticed an improvement of the texture of my skin. I don’t really suffer from break outs but I do get some dry skin build up around my nose, and this has completely disappeared since using the hot cloth cleanser. I was previously exfoliating about 3-4 times a week but this is no longer needed due to the gentle exfoliation of the muslin cloth.
The cleanser is moisturising and exfoliating and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, it is also a great cleanser working very well at removing the excess oil from my face.
So will I buy again? The cleanser costs £10 and if you have a No7 voucher that they are giving away at the moment you can get it for £5 which is amazing. I find that one pump is enough and I think that the bottle will last me for a very long time.
I will definitely be repurchasing a hot cloth cleanser I have been completely converted and can see what all the hype is about, I might give the Liz Earl one a try next time although I would happily get the No7 one again as it has worked so well.
Have any of you tried this cleanser? What do you think of it compared to the Liz Earl one?
Lots of Love
