Balance Me - Skin Brightening Hydrating Face Mist

Recently I've been hearing the words Hyaluronic acid wherever I go and to me it sounded like a wonder ingredient. I've wanted to jump on the bandwagon for a while now so when Balance Me asked me if I wanted to try the Skin Bright Hydrating Skin Mist I was so excited. Hyaluronic acid is a chemical that hydrates the skin deep down as opposed to simply moisturising the top layer.

The Balance Me Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist* comes in an elegant glass bottle which really gives you the impression that you're using a luxury product. It has a spray top which creates a very fine mist, perfect for spraying onto your face. This mist has many uses but my favourite is to spritz it over makeup to refresh and brighten my skin. It can also be used as a toner or whenever your skin needs a moisture boost.

I love to use this product to hydrate my skin during the day, at first I was worried it would leave me looking a bit shiny but it absorbs into the skin almost instantly and actually leaves my skin looking less oily. I took this product on holiday to Majorca with me and it did wonders for my skin in the heat. It was great to cool me down and to give my thirsty skin some hydration during the hot days.

I can honestly say I have noticed a massive difference in the quality of my skin; it looks brighter and feels smoother. As I have oily skin I was worried about spraying unnecessary products on my face but I had nothing to worry about. This product is a great way to give oily skin some moisture without leaving it feeling greasy. I just know this is going to be one of my summer savoirs over the next few months.

Like all of Balance Me's products the ingredients are from 99% natural origin, recently I've been trying to cut out products filled with chemicals and it's made a massive difference. The Skin Bright Hydrating Face Mist contains no parabens, sulphates or any other nasties. It does contain lovely ingredients such as rose and pineapple waters, revitalising neroli and brightening bergamot. This does smell quite strong and this might be off-putting for some people but it is a natural smell which is mainly due to the rosewater.

Overall this product has quickly become something that I have incorporated into my daily routine, whether it's to brighten my face in the morning or to refresh my makeup during the day. It costs £20 for 60ml which has so far lasted me for a long time and is available on the Balance Me website.

Have you used anything like this before?

Lots of Love

  1. This mist sounds amazing, Megan! I've had my eye on it for a while but thought it was too expensive to justify a purchase. After reading this post I'm definitely going to fork out my pennies. I mean, a hydrating mist that makes your face look less oily? My blotting-sheet-every-hour skin says 'yes, please'!

  2. I hadn't realised that this was in a glass bottle, I think little details like are wonderful as glass is so much more luxurious :D

This sounds really nice, a great review Megan! Balance Me do some of the nicest products I have come across.

  3. There are many products in the market. As you said this product has quickly become something that you have incorporated into your daily routine, whether it's to brighten our face in the morning or to refresh our makeup during the day. Seems good, but I prefer natural and herbal products.
